OPTION 1: Wildlife Cruise and Scenic Bus Tour

- 10.30am pick up from the i-site at the centre of Dunedin (The Octagon)
(shuttles run from Port Chalmers to Dunedin)
- Scenic Peninsula coach tour on the Otago Peninsula.
- Board mv Monarch for our unrivalled wildlife cruise to see the exciting diversity of wildlife which abounds on spectacular Taiaroa Head; the only mainland nesting place for Northern Royal Albatross in the world, and home to New Zealand Fur Seals, and eight other nesting bird species. You may also see dolphins, sea lions and a fascinating array of rarely seen ocean birds including other species of albatross, penguins and marine mammals in their natural environment.
- A scenic harbourside drive back to Dunedin.

OPTION 2: Wildlife Cruise and Scenic Bus Tour with Penguins

Same as OPTION 1, plus a guided tour of Penguin Place to see the most endangered penguin in the world found only on the south east coast of New Zealand. A short bus trip over the farm takes the small groups to the reserve. While in the reserve your guide will lead you on foot through a unique system of covered trenches into viewing hides. Allowing access to the living areas and breeding grounds of this shy penguin, which provides the opportunity to witness and photograph undisturbed activity at close range.

OPTION 3: Wildlife Cruise and Scenic Bus Tour with Castle
Same as OPTION 1, plus a fully guided tour of Larnach Castle, learn the scandalous, exciting and tragic history of the Castle. See the magnificent carved ceilings, antiques and craftsmanship. Enjoy the beauty of the gardens of international significance and breathtaking views. Let us take you on a journey to the 19th century and learn why William Larnach took his own life with a single shot in his head!
