Albatross Viewing from September to November on Monarch

A reminder the viewing of Northern Royal Albatross from the Monarch is usually spectacular during this period which is when :
 - breeding birds return to re-establish pair bonds and rebuild nests.
- mating, courtship and egg laying occurs.
 - courting juveniles attempt to establish pair bonds.
The Albatross Centre Observatory is closed from 17 September to 23 November to protect this activity.

We also frequently observe a number of other albatross species from the Monarch(including Buller, White Capped, Black Browed, Southern Royals).
