Things to do

in Dunedin.

Here are a few of our team’s favourite things to do!

  • Dunedin is fortunate to have some of the best surf breaks in the country. Pack your wetsuit because the water can be a bit chilly.

  • An awesome family museum. Planetarium, butterfly house, science centre for kids and many fantastic displays.

  • Dunedin is one of the best places in New Zealand to catch a glimpse of the Southern Lights. Look to the southern horizon at night.

  • Great cafes, sandy beach and a hot saltwater pool.

  • Work those legs and climb to the top of Baldwin St. The world’s steepest residential street.

  • Head to our stadium and watch a game of rugby!

  • You’ll find plenty of fantastic trails within riding distance of the CBD. Dunedin doesn’t have a shortage of hills to ride down!

  • The centre of town has many great cafe and restaurant options.
